The first fountain pen I ever purchased was a Lamy Vista when I was a sophomore in high school. I was out of town and stumbled across a little boutique stationary shop in good ol' Prescott, Arizona. Little did I know that the little Vista would kindle the flame of my fountain pen habit. When it came time to graduate high school, I was asked by my sister what I wanted as a graduation present. I told her two things: an electric kettle, and a black Monteverde Invincia with a fine nib.
