Like many, I spend a fair amount of time on social media platforms, specifically Facebook. Through my adventures on Facebook, I've come across some interesting things, such as bands, clothing lines, websites, and in this situation, a website that promises quality products without a "brand tax", a brand tax being the extra few cents that a name brand manufacturer will add to the price of their goods, such as Big Name Company X charging 20 cents more for their canned shrimp than the generic store brand, such as Walmart's Great Value products. This website, Brandless, sells everything on their website for $3. From teabags, to lotion, face wash, cutlery, and so on. A big selling point on their website is how just about all food items are GMO free and organic, and their body products are apparently never tested on animals. In attempts to save a few bucks where I can, I scrolled through the website and was pretty surprised at the variety of products they have on offer, even including ceramic plates and a pizza cutter.
