Howdy everyone, welcome to the third part of this Intro to Art History series I'm working on, and today, we'll go over the Russian art movement Rayonism. This movement was pretty short lived, ranging from 1911-1913, and is primarily composed of two artists, Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov, and is also laden with elements of the Russian avant-garde and abstraction.Notable Artists: Natalia Goncharova (main founder), Mikhail Larionov (they were lovers) |
