TWSBI pens seem to be making their rounds again on the Fountain Pen Network Facebook page, and having been wanting another TWSBI for a while now, I figured now would be as good a time as any to pick another.

Fall and winter are the best seasons, especially in my town. Living in a desert, the summer temperatures can peak at triple digits for weeks on end, making doing just about anything outside, even getting the mail, quite a pain.
So, a couple weeks ago I hit up a Barnes and Noble bookstore with a friend. We started roaming around, and I was in search for Lee Child's Persuader, as I had just finished the previous book. While roaming around, we found ourselves in the poetry section, and something caught my eye. While gazing into the one shelf, I saw a small circular portrait staring back at me.
Howdy everyone. About a week ago I wrote about the Jinhao x750. In that review, I wrote about dry starts, a slightly scratchy nib, and so on. A few days ago I ordered a Goulet #6 nib to slap on it, because why not? Anyway, in writing this, I hope to share some information about how to friction fit nibs on fountain pens.
Howdy everyone. A few months ago Goulet had a BOGO on Jinhao fountain pens, and considering the interest I had in Jinhao pens at the time, I figured then would be as good as any chance to pick two up for the cost of one. These Jinhao pens have a pretty good reputation for being extremely affordable while maintaining some type of quality.
Howdy everyone. I'm less than five days away from entering my junior year of college, and I figured I'd share some of what I learned with you all. Just some basic tips and tricks to make things a little easier on yourself, especially if you're JUST about to start out as a freshmen.Howdy everyone. I've seen lists like this pop up around the internet for a while now, and I figured I would do one of my own. Essentially, these are everyday items worth spending more money on for higher quality versions. While some things I'll mention in this list will be in several others, I think I have some you might not even think about. This will be a thorough analysis of the collaboration album, One Day You Will Ache Like I Ache, by The Body and Full of Hell. This will be less of an actual review, because I wouldn't be writing this detailed about something I do not absolutely love. However, I will do my best to gather what meaning I can from what's available to me. I know I'm bound to miss things, or not go in-depth enough. This album has become one of my all time favorites. I listen to it almost every night as I'm falling asleep, even.
For my third fountain pen purchase, I wanted something a little bit outside the typical nib sizes, such as fine and medium. I was on the search for a stub nib. The two moderately priced pens I was looking at were the Conklin Duragraph, and the TWSBI Eco. Why these two? Not sure really, their price points were pretty good, and both pens seemed aesthetically pleasing.Wow, that is quite a wordy title. Oh well.
