Runescape has been around for quite a long time. In fact, roughly 20 years, which is a heck of a lifespan for a video game, seeing as most game's playerbases begin to dwindle after a few months. Chances are, if you've played games on your computer in the past decade or so, you've likely heard of this one. In this article, we will be looking at how the game has changed since I last played it in 2014, as well as if it is worth it to hop back in, or in my case, make a new account because you can't access your old one.The current account I'm playing on is the third I've made since I started playing in 2004 or so, and is roughly 2-3 weeks old at this point. So, after a 5-6 year break, why did I return to Runescape? If you've played it for some extended period of time in your life, you already know the answer; it leaves a mark on your soul that never fades.
