Hey everyone, in this post, I'm going to try to persuade you, writer or otherwise, to pick up a secondary creative outlet, such as painting, drawing, and so on. In the spring semester of 2016, I took a class along the lines of "topics in contemporary art". Now, I have always been very fond of visual arts, but I always felt that, "naa, I'm a writer. I don't want to devalue a canvas by painting on it." But in this class, I was exposed to such a menagerie of art that I couldn't help but want to try out the whole painting thing.
