Howdy everyone. New pen review, yayyy. Anyway. So I bought the red Regatta Sport as a Valentine's Day give to myself, not only because I've been wanting another red fountain pen, but also because the magnetic cap captured my interest. Though, I do have a few critiques for the pen. But, I shall start with what I like about it. The pen itself is pretty heavy, even when not posted, and this makes writing with it feel modestly meaningful, as well as makes the pen feel very solid. Speaking of posting, doing so is cautioned. This is because the pen is so long when doing so, and because the whole body is made out of metal, posting the cap can really throw the balance off. Now onto the fun bit, I guess. Perhaps the biggest factor in deciding that this pen is not worth the money, is how the grip section can be swapped with the Invincia's, and vice versa. While the grips are not the exact same size, the threads are the same, and this made me feel like I paid for a different version of an Invincia (reviewed here), and I honestly feel that getting an Invincia is a better investment.
